Vik Venkatraman is an entrepreneur, author, and aspiring citizen of the world. He has worked for the past several years as an innovation advisor to the C-level of some of the worlds largest companies (Georgia-Pacific, Exelon, Citibank, Nielsen, Heineken, Mars and more) to help create new businesses...
He is among the most tested executives in areas of uncertainty, having built product and sales teams not only under well-funded settings, but also under conditions of turnaround, market hostility, and very tight resources.
Vik has been a leader in the development and deployment of multiple technical and powerful data products. He founded and led Clothes Horse, a machine-learning real-estate-tech company through a merger with a rival to create the global leader in the space, and exited the business to Rakuten. Prior, Vik helped build an analytics and data products business (~$40MM+) at American Express from a standing start in three years.
Vik is the founder and principal investor at a real estate fund that he founded, Forty Fayette Holdings. Through this lens, he plays a developer role for single and multifamily ground-up opportunities, as well as a long-term hold and operate strategy for multifamily properties in the greater New York area.
Vik has published two books, Inspired (Wiley) and Mechanized(KDP). Vik graduated with honors from Columbia University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. In his spare time, he is often behind a camera or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
